I wish I traveled to as many countries as my daughter's clothes were made in.

Is trump insane in thanking he's going to punish all America manufacturers for taking their manufacturing overseas because all clothing is made outside the US? American Apparel is pretty much the only clothing company where are its products are made here. Our fruits and vegetables are picked by illegal mexicans who also make up most construction and bar and restaurant businesses Donald J. Trump. Try going to a restaurant, buying fruits or vegetables, clothing when Trump "fixes" America and you'll be bankrupt.

Bill DeBlasio won't win another term as Mayor of the City of NY and guess who will be elected?

First off, let me say, I told you so.  I told anyone who would listen that Donald Trump would be elected president.  I hear you blaming republicans right now for voting for Trump.  But most republicans have one thing in common.  With the exception of Rich Russo and Jerry Della Femina who I know Voted for Hillary Clinton, they will vote for any republican, even Stalin over any democrat.  Russo started a group Hillary Haters for Hillary choosing 4 years of regret over lifetime of remorse.  But really the fault of having Trump as president rests with you whiny liberals, who said if Bernie Sanders doesn't get nominated I’m either not voting or voting for a third party candidate.  You guys who voted for Ralph Nader over Al gore or didn’t vote at all but wondered why Al Gore lost.  Well thank you idiots, you did it again and now Donald Trump will be  president.  You guys are like Pavlov's Dog making the same mistake time after time.   Feel free to de-friend me on Facebook.

I know, I know, I hear many of you cheering after reading the headline.  But before the city organizes a ticker tape parade, let me just show what Bill DeBlasio has done as mayor of the City of NY.   Pre-K for All was a great program that we were able to take advantage of with my daughter going to PS145, which is a great school that has little to no funding thanks to a segregated city. The Mayor’s New Equity and Excellence plan offers AP classes, algebra and computer science to all students. 94 schools have been turned around under the Renewal Schools program, and citywide, the graduation rate rose to over 70% for the class of 2015.

Overall crime is down 5.8% over the past two years. 2015 saw the third fewest number of murders on record in our city’s history - and the safest summer in 20 years.   Mayor DeBlasio  secured the first ever rent freeze for more than 40,000 units of affordable housing, and saved affordable housing for nearly 7,400 working families living in Stuy-Town and Riverton. 

In 2014, Paid Sick Leave became available for more than 500,000 New Yorkers, the Mayor announced a $15 minimum wage for 50,000 City workers and six weeks of paid parental leave for 20,000 City workers. Along with that, New York City’s unemployment rate is currently 4.8%, the lowest since 2007, and since 2014, more than 220,000 jobs were created - the largest two year gain ever.

The Mayor’s policies have helped over 22,000 homeless New Yorkers move from shelter to permanent housing and over 91,000 New Yorkers have been served by the City’s preventative services. In December 2015, HOME-STAT was created to directly counsel street homeless New Yorkers. To continue homeless prevention, Mayor DeBlasio has to continue homeless prevention, Mayor de Blasio has committed to a record 15,000 units of supportive housing and created first ever shelter repair squad to address shelter violations. 30 encampments were permanently cleared out as well.

Over the past two years, Mayor de Blasio’s administration has reinvested in our NYCHA communities by repairing Sandy damage, installing new security cameras and lighting, and budgeting $300 million to replace moldy roofs.

In November 2015, under the leadership of Deputy Mayor Richard Buery and First Lady Chirlane McCray, the de Blasio administration launched ThriveNYC, a comprehensive municipal program to combat mental illness which is why many New Yorkers are homeless in the first place.  Ronald Reagan in the 1980's shut down places that mentally ill people would get treatment and the result was lots more homeless people.  Even veterans were left homeless. Vision Zero helped drive down road fatalities down another 9% this past year, making 2015 the safest year on New York City roads since 1910. Approximately 2,200 lane miles have been repaved, more than at any point since 1991, and over 965,000 potholes have been filled since the start of the administration.

Yeah de Blasio really sucks.  But the real reason that people aren't fond of Bill DeBlasio, isn't the result of something he did, but something he said.  He said he son who is black, would have a greater chance of getting stopped by a cop than a white person.  When DeBlasio made those comments his approval ratings, which was high plummeted and he got in the crosshairs of the  Police Commissioner and policemen and women.  

Now here's where people might start hating me even more.  When DeBlasio loses, Donald Trump Jr. will become mayor of NY.  Why not?  He has the money of his dad, the support of many NY republicans and the arrogance of his dad.  Does he have any substance?  Any ideas on how to make things better?  No but why should that matter?  It didn’t matter for his dad who was just elected president.  His dad’s big plan was to bring jobs.  Much better paying jobs and make America great again, but didn’t say how.  Well why can’t his son using his dad’s money, arrogance (and the support of at least one maybe two TV network if his dad starts a TV network).  I have the slogan for him already, “We’re going to make NY great.”

So before you blast Bill DeBlasio, look at what’s he’s accomplished as mayor of NYC, or we can have another Donald Trump as mayor, governor or maybe even president.

Trump lied about support for Iraq War over and over in debate.Trump in court for rape of a minor. Trump's unaware of Russia's Crimea occupation. Trump's unaware of situation in Syria. Trump was penalized for racist housing discrimination. Trump files for bankruptcy 6 times. Trump goes 0-3 in debates by showing scant knowledge of world politics. Trump slams people for being POWs. Trump calls mexicans rapists. Trump questions judge's integrity because of parent's heritage.Trump deletes emails involved in casino scandal. Trump commits insurance fraud after florida hurricane. Trump has dozens of assault victims and witnesses come forward with allegations of abuse. Trump attacks former Ms America for being overweight. Trump tweets about sex tapes at 3am. Trump calls for US citizens to be sent to Gitmo. Trump calls for more extreme forms of torture to be used. Trump asks why can't we use our nukes if we have them? Trump calls for offensive bombing attack on sovereign nations because someone gave the middle finger. Trump calls to kill women and children of suspected terrorists. Trump says women should be punished for having abortions. Trump makes fun of disabled people. Trump calls for end of freedom of the press. Trump calls global warming a chinese hoax. Trump praises Putin and Kim Jong Un's strong leadership. Trump openly admits to not paying his employees during debate. Clinton emails. Trump calls Obama an illegitimate noncitizen hundreds of times over 7 years. Trump uses campaign donations to enrich his own businesses. Trump says Ted Cruz involved in JFK assassination citing National Enquirer. Trump says laziness is an inherent trait in black people. But lets keep hearing about Clinton emails from the "liberally biased media" who ignored that Bush Jr deleted 22 Million emails. Was Ronald Reagan a democrat?

Republicans would like us to believe that Trump handled himself well during the debate, which is completely a lie.  Trump was sniffling; he had red eyes and couldn't make a single point. He looked like a college student making a speech who had been binge drinking the night before.   Later he said he should have brought up Bill Clinton's affairs (this is from Trump who cheated on every one of his wives).  Trump has given us no plan on how he will deport 11-20 million Mexicans and build this wall.  As we've learned from history, walls don't keep people out.  The Great Wall of China, the Berlin Wall didn't keep people out.  He was given us no idea on how much it will cost tax payers to implement his plans and no idea on how much it will hurt construction, agriculture and bars and restaurants to have their low line workers deported.  You go to any construction, food company and bars and restaurants and you’ll find all the workers doing the grunt work for very low pay are Mexicans or illegals from somewhere else like Poland in the case of Trump Tower.  Instead of promising to find and deport them, Trump should focus on ways to keep them here and make them legal.  

Ron Reagan was discussing this when he was president.  He said,  “I think the time has come that the United States and our neighbors—particularly our neighbor to the south—should have a better understanding and a better relationship than we've ever had. But I think that we haven't been sensitive enough to our size, and our power," Reagan said.

  

"Rather than talking about putting up a fence, why don't we work out some recognition of our mutual problems, make it possible for them to come here legally with a work permit, and then, while they're working and earning here, they pay taxes here?," Reagan said.

When did Republicans start hating Ron Reagan?  Ronald Reagan was for a waiting period to buy guns, and he was an NRA member.  Reagan also supported making Mexicans legal something republicans are against.  I guess either Reagan wasn’t a republican or today’s republicans aren’t what Reagan envisioned the republican party was all about.

Does the media have a conservative bias?

Does the media have a conservative bias? Daily we hear about Hillary Clinton deleting 30,000 emails, but rarely do we hear that Bush had Karl Rove delete over 22 million emails. From 2003 to 2009 the bush team deleted 22 millions, which allegedly included information about false claims about the Iraqi war, claims about Iraq having WMD which were false and the firing of US attorneys for political payback, which would make Chris Christie's Bridge Gate look like child's play.  We just learned that President Trump's senior staff used a private email server, a fact largely ignored by the news media.

Now we hear that Trump Strategist Stephen Bannon says the media should keep its mouth shut.  This is the same Bannon who for 8 years wrote critical articles on Obama and democrats in Breitbart News,  a far-right American news, opinion and commentary website founded in 2007 by conservative commentator and entrepreneur Andrew Breitbart. Also the Fox News pundits like Bill O'Reilly repeatitally said that its un-American to write critical things of a sitting president when Bush Jr was president but apparently forgot that when Obama was President.

Donald Trump is now being critical of people protesting Trump policies, but wasn’t it Theodore Roosevelt who said “Patriotism means to stand by the country.  It does not mean to stand by the president."

Republicans didn't allow Obama to appoint anyone to the Supreme Court and Ted Cruz said they won't allow Clinton to do it either.  This is unprecedented and barely reported on by the "liberal media."  The media should be taking republicans to the woodshed for this, but the won't because then they'd be called "liberally biased."  So they ignore how Obama wasn't given the chance to appoint anyone to the Supreme Court and Hillary if she wins won't be able to either.


CNN hires Tara Setmayer and former Donald Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski. MSNBC hires radio host Hugh Hewitt, GOP consultant Steve Schmidt and former RNC chairman Michael Steele and even puts an ad out with the line, "People might start accusing us of leaning too far to the right."

The "liberal media" reports on Bengnazi daily, even though they barely reported on Beirut when 260 men were killed under Ron Reagan or the 60 Americans who were killed in embassy attacks under Bush. No republican, democrat or media member called for hearings on Beirut or embassy attacks under Bush.   The liberal media barely report on the 22 million emails that disappeared under Bush Jr but report on Hillary's missing 33K emails daily. Maybe instead of calling them liberally biased media they call the media inept.

Speaking of being inept, isn't that what Trump's plans for battling terrorists are?  Recently he banned those living in Iraq, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen from traveling here.  But the problem with that ban is that none of those country's citizen's have killed an American since 1975. The same can't be said for those who are from Saudi Arabia, The United Arab Emirates, Egypt and Lebanon who have been involved in every terror attack against America since 1975.  I guess Trump has some conflict of interest investments with Saudi Arabia, The United Arab Emirates, Egypt and Lebanon otherwise why wouldn't he have banned travel from those countries which have had citizens who carried not terror attacks against America.  What's even more shocking is no member of the media has asked that question of Trump or anyone on his cabinet.

The media should be asking why Trump  banned those living in Iraq, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen from traveling here but didn't ban those who are from Saudi Arabia, The United Arab Emirates, Egypt and Lebanon who have been involved in every terror attack against America since 1975 from coming here? The media should also ask why Donald Trump wants to lift sanctions against Russia?  John McCain is asking why Trump wants to lift sanctions against Russia, but the answer should be obvious to the media.  Putin the President of Russia helped get Trump elected and in return Trump will lift sanctions against Russia.  Also Trump has business involvements in terror-supporting countries like Saudi Arabia, The United Arab Emirates, Egypt and Lebanon which is why he hasn't banned travel from those countries.  Why isn't the media asking those questions?  Oh yeah, there's reality TV for them to cover.  Even Dick Cheney condemns President Trumps muslim travel ban, saying it "goes against everything we stand for."
